Hi my name is Jenn DeSloovere, a friend and neighbour of Tom and Lauren. With consent, I have set up this GoFundMe in hopes of raising enough money to help ease the financial stress of the funeral costs and living expenses as they cope with their sudden, tragic loss.

The world has lost an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister (sister in law), and friend. To know Lauren, was to love her. She had an infectious laugh and a heart of gold. During the recent pandemic, she opened up her home to support neighbours struggling with managing work and having children at home - our family being one of them. She was selfless and always there to help. Lauren devoted her life to her two sons, Nathan and Evan. Without her presence, added support will be needed for Evan.

While we will never be able to take away the pain that comes from losing a wife and mother, together as a community, we can help relieve some of the financial burdens of funeral arrangements, time away from work and additional costs that will follow, to allow this beautiful, amazing, family to grieve and heal.
