Funeral & Family Expenses for Rev JR Jones

Greetings and Peace to You in the Name of Jesus Christ,

My name is Brandon Davis. I pastor a small Baptist Church in the hills of Eastern Kentucky.

JR Jones and his wife Whitney are two of my best friends. Selfishly and not by the choice of those who feel we need him here in our lives, JR was called to be with the Lord yesterday evening. JR was only 34 years old.

JR pastored a church he loved with all his heart. He also recently started a dump truck business. JR was a loving father. JR was a loving husband. He was a great friend. I have spoken to Whitney and with her permission, I am asking for donations of love to aid in the unexpected funeral expenses and immediate life expenses for JR's family.

At 34 years old, one does not consider the fact that one heartbeat is the difference between looking into the eyes of your loved ones and looking into the face of Christ. Unfortunately, just being recently self-employed, life insurance had not been purchased yet.

There is a great outpouring of love and concern for this family. Whitney is not someone to ask for help but I explained to her that people want to love her and their children. Coming to one's aid in a time of unimaginable loss is one of the purest actions of love. This go fund me account is transparent with Whitney and will be used by her for funeral expenses as well as living expenses for the immediate future.

The amount one can donate does not by any means equate the love they have for JR or his family. If you can donate $10 or $100 does not mean that you love them more or less than a person who can only donate $5.

We realize but this is a change of life for all involved. JR is in his eternal life in awe of God's glory for the rest of eternity. Whitney and the girls are suffering the loss of who they love the most on this earth.

When the Tears of today dry up, the bills off tomorrow will be staring the family in the face. I pray that the donated funds to this account bless JR's family and provide a form of modern-day financial loaves and fishes for Whitney and the children.
