We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Jimmy “Big Jim” Piloto. Although, we are heartbroken, we were blessed to have Jimmy as a friend, husband, father, brother, and son, for as long as we did.

Jimmy was known to many as “Big Jim”. Big in stature and larger than life, Jimmy was a friend to all wherever he went; everybody loved Jimmy. A tough as nails exterior, never short on smartass comments, and a diehard Raider fan, but still full of love and compassion. Jimmy set the bar for what a real man should be and was a role model to many.

2 years ago the day came that changed the course of Jimmy, and his families, life. Jimmy was diagnosed with stage-4 colon cancer.

As everybody knows, battling cancer is one of the most grueling and difficult things one could endure…but Jimmy fought with every ounce of his being for his wife of 23 years, Mary, and kids, Andrew(19) and Franki(21). In those dark moments, when nothing made sense and things seemed too tough, Jimmy’s wife and kids were his light and his strength. Jimmy’s love for his family is what carried him till the very end, and it is what will carry his family till they see him again.
