Funeral Expenses-Michael Stewart
Donation protected
My father, James Michael Stewart, passed away unexpectedly sometime between last night and early this morning. As of now, I do not have all of the information regarding his death. I do, however, know the culprit: addiction. You see, my father was a kind-hearted, intelligent man. He was talented artistically as well as athletically. He could draw, paint, or tattoo, any photo that was presented to him. Standing at 6’8”, He could have easily been one of the best NBA players of the century with his graceful skill on the court. He loved my Granny’s biscuits and he loved my chocolate pie; he was human—just like you and I.
But he wandered into the path of destruction that so many wander. It is a path that killed more than 64,000 people in 2016. Addiction doesn’t discriminate. It will consume your entire being regardless of your race, gender, or social status. In my father’s words “It will make you lose control of what you love and care for”. It ultimately lead to his death. I am heartbroken that I couldn’t do more to help him through the pain that he endured. All that I can do now is make sure that he has a proper funeral so that all off our family and friends can gather and celebrate his 50 years here on Earth.
I am humbling myself and asking that you please donate to help with funeral expenses for my father’s untimely death. Absolutely any amount is appreciated. If you are unable to donate, I ask that you please pray unceasingly for myself and my family. We have been in pain for so long due to his addiction. We’ve spent years worrying that this day would come, and now it has arrived. I trust that God will provide peace, both emotional and financial, and comfort, during this difficult time for our family.
