Family Assistance for brother Khalid Herez

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart but with full acceptance of Allah's will, Worcester Islamic Center Social Services (WICSS) informs you of the sudden, unexpected passing away of Brother Khalid Herez's 20-year-old daughter, Ghufran Mutar, in a tragic hit-and-run road accident on the evening of Friday, October 28th. Brother Khalid Herez is actively involved in assisting all community members, notably the new refugee families who recently arrived in Worcester. He is an active member of the WIC community and a Hifz teacher in the WIC Qur'an classes.

WICSS is requesting everyone to help in the following ways:

(1) Please make dua that Allah SWT grants maghfirat to the marhooma and sabr-e-jameel to the parents and family members.

(2) Please donate towards the funeral expenses and family assistance fund. The goal is $10K. Burial costs (Grave plot, excavation, vault, marker and funeral home cost) are estimated between $5k and $6K. All excess funds will be given to the family to support them with short-term needs.
