It is with great sadness that I am asking my family and friends to help my family lay my father to rest. My father‘s name was Andres Cabrera he was born in Mexico City and came to the United States at a very young age to live the American dream. He worked very hard and he worked at a restaurant in the Bay Area called Emil villas Hickory pit he was the restaurant manager and managed many restaurants across the bay area. He was the best father hands down! He took us on mini camping trips to thousand trails, mini Disneyland trips, family vacations and the memories are so precious to us now, he taught us so much in life and always always reminding my brother and I to work hard and be grateful for everything that we had. Unfortunately things took a turn for the worst and he was diagnosed with diabetes and fought very hard to live. He could no longer work when he had his first stroke which paralyzed his entire left body, then came the amputation of both legs stemming from diabetes complications. He never let those disabilities stop him from loving his family, his friends, he was a true fighter and fought till the very end. He later became legally blind and that never stop him from wanting to continue to live and fight for his life for the sake of his beautiful wife Esperanza Cabrera, and all of his grandchildren, Isaiah, Guero, Christian, Chuey, Julissa , Lorenzo, Sofia, As well as his son Andres Cabrera Junior and myself Jesenia. A few hours after my dad passed my mother got the very devastating news the diagnosis of breast cancer, we are devastated beyond belief and are asking our family and friends to please help us in this very difficult time we appreciate all the love and thoughts and prayers that everyone has given our family whether it’s been through my brother Andres Cabrera Junior, or reaching out to my children and family and my mother Esperanza Cabrera. May the grace of God be with you all thank you so much for your thoughts and your prayers and your support throughout the years my father is no longer suffering and I know that he is with our heavenly father Jesus Christ thank you all so much we love you all.
