It is with much grief that I am requesting financial support for my family and me to help after the loss of my brother Abraham (Abe) Rosas. On November 2nd 2021, My brother Abraham Rosas was shot and critically wounded as he tried to flee being robbed. After an agonizing week spent at the hospital during his last few days, we were finally able to have a wake, funeral and burial on the 9th and 10th of November. It is difficult to describe how long and agonizing this time was and still is for our family, and our minds are filled with inconsolable pain and struggle with the reality of losing him.
Due to the sudden nature of Abe’s loss, along with extensive time in the hospital and cost of transport to and from the coroner’s office for autopsy, we have incurred a tremendous amount of fees and debt that still continues to grow. We are asking for $16,000 to help cover funeral, casket and burial fees; fees incurred from hotel stays and food to be near him in his last days; and transportation fees incurred from transferring his body from the hospital, to the coroner and to his final place of rest.
This is a huge amount to ask, and we want no one to feel obligated to extend themselves beyond what they can support. Every bit of support helps in aiding our family in our efforts to get back on our feet, and be able to continue to mourn Abe with a greater sense of ease. We have not been able to fully rest since his loss, and continue to struggle keeping ourselves afloat since his loss. Thanks for your support, consideration and prayers.
