On January 20, 2017 the Central Texas Regional Board was informed that brother Quirino Ramirez passed away as a result of a traffic accident that occurred on his way to Texas State University (where he was currently attending), the day before on January 19, 2017. Brother Ramirez was 20 years old at the time of his passing. Further details regarding his passing are not know at this time. 

Brother Ramirez was a business major in the McCoy College of Business Administration at Texas State University in San Marcos. He was initiated into the brotherhood of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. on April 22, 2016 as part of their Alpha Kappa class at the end of Spring 2016. As a true leader, and only a neophyte, Brother Ramirez was elected President-Elect for the 2016-2017 academic school year at Rho chapter.
