Funeral Expenses For Angela York

Donation protected

Angela Ann (Kauppila) York, age 59, of 4403 Eagle St., Gwinn, went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 5, 2021. Angela's passing was unexpected and the family is absolutely devastated. We are working hard to find the funds to cover all the expenses involved with the funeral and the celebration of life. Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.

Angela was born in Frankfurt, Germany on October 31, 1961, a daughter of James Kauppila and the late Renate (Dietzel) Kauppila. Angela graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice, receiving a 4.0 grade point average from the College of Lake County in Illinois. Angela spent most of her time as a homemaker, centered around her children. She worked as a CNA at Eastwood Nursing Center in Negaunee for several years and as a CSA at ACN.

Angela was a Youth Leader and Sunday School Teacher for Heartland and Victory Lutheran Christian Churches. Angela was a woman of God and had a strong faith and truly loved Jesus. She enjoyed reading, writing and music. Her family was most dear to her heart, and she adored being a mother and grandmother. Some of the simple things in life she loved was a can of Pepsi, crushed ice and her sweet tooth. Angela was a cancer warrior who fought cancer 3 times and was not afraid to meet God.
