Funeral Expenses - Myles Lee Welliver

My name is Melanie Welliver, I am the sister of Corey Welliver and sister-in-law of Allie. On the morning of July 4th, Allie and Corey were told the unimaginable: their baby had passed. Corey was in Texas serving at the Border for the Army National Guard. While arrangements were being made to put Corey on an emergency flight home, Allie was admitted to the hospital. As the rest of the city was celebrating with fireworks, Corey’s plane landed in Greenville, SC and was rushed to Allie’s side.

On the morning of July 5th, Allie’s birthday, Myles Lee Welliver was born sleeping at 7:20 am. Corey and Allie are shattered at the loss of their baby. Additionally, they have had to navigate unexpected costs associated with their loss including medical bills, travel expenses, lost wages, and burial arrangements. Many of these expenses will be ongoing over the next few weeks as they deal with pain that no parent should ever have to feel. We would like to take any added burden off their shoulders as they grieve their precious Myles. All funds will go directly to Corey and Allie to put towards burial, medical, and other incurred expenses.
