I am helping organize this GoFundMe for Andy Erickson. Andy is a Police Officer for the City of Walker. Friday January 7th and into the early morning of January 8th Andy would find his world was turned upside down. Please find it in your heart to donate or share if you are unable to donate. Andy and his family are appreciative of any help anyone is willing to give.

I did not write the beautiful tribute to Corrine below it was written by Andy’s sister Amanda. There are no words anyone of us can express during this time of sorrow for the Erickson family.

In the early morning yesterday (Saturday January 8th, 2022) I received a phone call that put me on my knees pleading for God to help. Sadly, very shortly after that phone call I received another call informing me that my prayers hadn't been answered. My beautiful, healthy, 32 year old sister in law Corrine, wife to my brother Andy, passed away very unexpectedly from covid related complications. Heartbroken and devastated is the common words used to described how people are feeling after this tremendous loss.
Corrine was an amazing addition to our family. She was funny and put up with our antics beautifully and gave it right back. If you met my brother you know he prides himself in doing whatever he can to be a goof and made it his mission to embarrass her with handle bar mustaches or really rockin mullets. She took it with an eye roll, shake of the head, and a shoulder shrug cause what could she do...
They always brought the new board games for us to try at the cabin because her and Andy loved buying and playing new games together for hours. There was a stack of four or five board games still sealed that I saw in their living room last night that im sure they were excited to try but won't get to. She truly was his other half.
She was the most loving mother to my 7 yo nephew. The confusion he is feeling is too much to witness. Corrine had the most amazing, infectious, unique laugh you could pick out from across any room and the biggest brightest smile that she always had flashed across her face.
People say stuff like this about people all the time when they pass but with Corrine it really truly is true. She was a wonderful person. Im going to miss having her talk with me starting every August about Christmas shopping and what deals we found where. We seemed to be the only people that believed Christmas shopping began as early as possible.
I am going to miss Pontoon rides in the summertime with her. I will miss her delicious cooking. I will miss playing board games until late late at night as a family or on the porch enjoying the sunshine. I will miss our "girls trip" to the casino every family vacation. We are all going to miss so much.
I am SO ANGRY and I WANT HER BACK!!!!
Please pray for my sweet Corrine. Pray for my brother Andy and nephew Logan. Please pray for Corrines Mom, Dad, brothers, and all of her close family and friends. There were many.
Posting this won't bring her back. But I thought you should all know what an amazing person this world lost yesterday.
