Funeral Expenses Kaleb Grant
Donation protected
My sweet little sister Rebecca and her husband James had a baby boy Kaleb Grant Howland, he was born February 12, 2019, he was seven weeks early. His birth went fairly normal for an emergency c section. They knew going into it that he would be sick when he was born. His ultrasounds before birth showed that he would have the same Kidney condition that their first daughter Kelci had. They were concerned with that. After he was born he spent some time in the NICU at the University of Utah. Rebecca and James were so happy to see him and watch him grow. During the routine tests they run on newborns there were some concerning results. Since they knew he was sick they let him come home early, so Rebecca and James could enjoy their time with him. Rebecca and James continued to go to doctors and get tests done on sweet Kaleb. Each time the diagnosis seemed to get added to. First was the Nephrotic Syndrome (kidneys) which they knew about. Then they were told his Immune system was compromised. He received a new diagnosis that was so rare the doctor that came in to tell them about it only had one sheet with five cases on it. He made number 6 in the WORLD of documented cases. Kaleb was born very sick, they knew their time with him was very short so they made the most of it. Kalebs journey on earth ended April 10, 2019. No parent should ever have to bury a baby, Rebecca and James
lost their first daughter, Kelci Grace, from the same sickness. Please help lift the financial burden of funeral costs. We appreciate all the love and concern for the Howland family at this time.
