Funeral expenses help for my mom, Joan Nelms

Hi. My mom passed away Dec 30. There was no life or final expense insurance. My father, brother and I would appreciate any help to cover the funeral expenses . Please keep us in your prayers as dad isn't doing well and his birthday the day after we bury mom. God bless you.

My mom died last night. Here is her obituary.

Joan Pugh Nelms, age 75, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Nona Pugh; brothers, Charles Pugh and Winfred Pugh; and sister-in-law, Hazel Bagwell. Mrs. Nelms is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, George P. Nelms of Lawrenceville; children, Angelina Clark of Lawrenceville, and Gregory and Sarah Nelms of Auburn, GA; grandchildren, Story Clark and William Clark; sister, Martha Sue Maloney (Don) of Lilburn, GA; brothers, Harold Bagwell (Betty) of Buford, GA, and Ed Bagwell of Alpharetta, GA; sister-in-law, Zelma Lord Johnson of Lawrenceville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Nelms was born on April 10, 1946 in Buford, GA. She was a 1964 graduate of Buford High School, and was retired from General Electric with over twenty years of service. Mrs. Nelms was a longtime member of Island Ford Baptist Church in Buford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Island Ford Baptist Church with Rev. Carroll Pruitt and Rev. David Pruitt officiating. She will lie-in-state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Family and friends are requested to meet at the church by 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Island Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Flanigan funeral home in Buford from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3.
