In Memory of William Modzelewski

In the early morning hours of December 4, 2020, our father Bill lost his life when his semi-truck veered off the road, striking a freeway overpass column.  It is believed that he fell asleep, succumbing to the demands of long-haul driving by night and being a full-time caregiver to my mother, who suffers from early-onset Alzheimer's, by day. While in previous years I was able to share caregiving responsibilities with him, the onset of Covid-19 made travel between our homes on opposite sides of the country challenging and he was presently carrying the weight of the burden on his own. 

Bill leaves behind a devastated wife of forty years, whom he worked relentlessly to provide and care for. We are heartbroken by this loss to our family and have setup this fundraiser for those who wish to contribute to his funeral expenses.
