Vladimir Oyzerovich Funeral expenses
Donation protected
On March 29th 2020, our father , Vladimir Oyzerovich, passed away suddenly after a long battle with cancer. He was 60 years old.
Vladimir Mikhailovich Oyzerovich, was born in Moscow, of the former Soviet Union on May 11th , 1959. When he grew up he decided to study electrical engineering. Our father and his family were Jewish. Unable to continue living in the USSR without facing religious persecution, they left to pursue a new life in January 1989.They gave up everything they had to make sure that not only they would live a better life, but so would their future children. They wanted their kids to be given an opportunity to succeed. Our father came to America with an amazing work ethic. He taught himself English and worked his way up from being a technical electrician to a senior project manager. He was a fighter, and he fought really hard to be here with us everyday.
From a young age we were told our father did not want to be cremated, as it goes against the Jewish religion. Therefore, we will be sending our father to California to be laid to rest with our grandmother.
Our father sacrificed everything for us. He lived his life for us. We have to bury him the way he deserves.
Having just returned from Europe and having to comply with the COVID-19 quarantine restrictions, we are unable to have a proper burial. This has made it extremely difficult to say goodbye and have friends and family help us in person. The pain is unimaginable.
Time is of the essence. We need to bury him as soon as possible but COVID-19 has delayed paperwork. We are hoping that by Monday, April 6th we will have the funds available to proceed with the internment.
As the eldest daughter, Zoya has decided to pay $4,300 to send him to LAX. The plot we have next to our grandmother was originally reserved for our grandfather. We are hoping to raise $20,000 to cover the funeral expenses and to create another plot for our grandfather who is now 94-years-old.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Zoya, Milla and Rosie
If you have questions please feel free to contact me.
The costs:
Mortuary->LAX = $4360.74
LAX -> Hollywood Forever Cemetery =$ 20,160.75
Total: $24,521.49
If we cannot come up with the money in time then we will be forced to cremate our father which he always said he was against.
When the COVID-19 Pandemic has passed we will be having a ceremony in Arizona and California, when the time is right.
