Just 6 months ago, my sisters and I said goodbye to our beloved mother. Her passing shook our worlds. Now, while still grieving, we are facing another loss in a similar way. Our father has been ill for a while. After lossing our mother, he has put a lot of stress on himself and his heart. He suddenly suffered a massive heart attack and was without oxygen for a long time, which resulted in severe brain damage.

After agonizing days in the hospital, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go. He was 62 years old. Losing both parents in less than a year is something none of us was prepared for. It is overwhelming emotionally, mentally, and financially. The pain is indescribable, and the financial burden is heavy. Dealing with financial issues while trying to stay afloat after the devastating loss of our parents, just 6 months apart, is exhausting.
