Funeral Expenses for Victor Chsherbakov

My name is Roman Chsherbakov. It is with great sadness and complete disbelief that I share the news of the passing of my father, Victor Chsherbakov. My father tragically and unexpectedly left us on Monday, March 14, 2022, at the age of 75, at my family's home in Almaty, Kazakhstahn.

 

This fundraiser is intended to help ease the financial burden of this terrible loss on my mother and sister. The money raised will be used for funeral expenses/arrangements, travel expenses, and the cost of the repast.

 

Victor Chsherbakov leaves behind a wife, a son and daughter, a grandson, and many beloved relatives and friends. He was a charming, larger-than-life personality: a wise, loving, and devoted father and husband, a man of unimpeachable integrity, a role model and mentor. Welcoming to all and very kind-hearted, he always put others before himself.  He deserves a memorial befitting the life he led and the many lives he touched.

 

I've never created a GoFundMe campaign before. But recent events have made life very difficult for my family: they’ve had to endure financial hardships imposed by inflation, war sanctions, pandemic restrictions, and supply chain issues. They are good people, helplessly caught in the middle of events beyond their control.

 

100% of all funds will go directly to my family in Kazakhstan. In addition to giving them everything I can personally in this dire moment of need, I’ve set up this GoFundMe to help my family offset the costs of a private funeral.
