On Thursday August 5th Tyson Holley passed away very unexpectedly. This is a devastating time for our family but we would like to be able to give Tyson the memorial he deserves. Tysons parents are also missing out on a lot of work so anything beyond the services will go to them. Tyson was a goofy 17 year old with a smile that would light up a room. He will be greatly missed.

Hey friends and family! I unretired my FB for this urgent situation. I know there are a lot of people who haven't heard... My son Tyson died August 5th from an accidental overdose. Our family is devastated! I plead with you and encourage you...Please get your kids or loved ones help. Please hug your kids, let them know they're so loved, be there, but actually be present and mindful...put your phones down, and have some awesome quality time. Unless your taking pictures, put the darn phone down. Be slow to anger, be gracious, forgive and make up...Also, I want to remind you or tell you for the first time...there is hope and comfort...and it's found in Jesus...Romans 10: 9-11 says, "9 because If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

There will be a candlelight vigil on Thursday, August 12 @ 9pm. Tyson's favorite color was blue, so please honor him and accompany us in wearing blue for him. If people show earlier, we'll be there releasing balloons. This is being put together by two of his best friends Oryan and Hailey. They'll play some songs that Tyson liked(NOT ME, ha!) but also some songs as a tribute to him. We expect people to be sober. No fighting or drama! We're there to honor my boy!

Thank you for all your prayers , kind words, and generosity extended. Death's sting is so horrendous, as well as very real and permanent. It's such a great reminder to us all that this life is so short. I rest in God's promise listed above and pray you do as well.
