Funeral expenses for Troy Crocker
Donation protected
Our son, Troy, passed away today in Seattle. We are trying to raise funds to pay for his cremation expenses, including for us to travel up there from Oregon and have a small service.
He was only 31 years old. He had a hard time, struggling with both mental illness and addiction from his early teen years. He was homeless for most of the last decade.
He loved to create things. Whether it was tinkering to put machines together, art, cooking, music, he just wanted to make things. Some of his experiments, obviously, were more successful than others, but he still kept working to try to put new things out into the world. His dream was to work with animals as a veterinarian, like his Grampy in Blanding.
He also loved people. Family, friends, strangers, he liked talking to people, gathering their insight. I think he was trying to find a way to fit everything together, still. He was always so happy hanging out with his older brother Trystan, and his little brother Shannon, and spending time with all his grandparents and uncles and cousins. He gathered a diverse group of friends around him as he got older, as well.
