Funeral Expenses for Tia Beatriz

Tuesday, October 26th Heaven’s gates opened up to receive another angel when our beloved Tia Beatriz got her wings after fighting for her life for almost 2 months in the ICU. The world stopped spinning, the clocks stopped ticking and our hearts were left with a void that will never be filled.

Those who were fortunate to have met her know she was such a loving, caring and compassionate human being with a beautiful soul. She was always full of joy with a sparkle in her eyes that made you wonder if she was even capable of being mad. We are all still in disbelief and keep wishing this is all nothing more than a horrible dream but unfortunately, it’s the sad reality we are currently living.

It is with permission from my cousins and uncle (her daughter and husband) that I have created this fundraising account. As you can all imagine funeral expenses are quite astronomical and unfortunately not something any of us were prepared for. As you can imagine this is a heavy burden, especially when they were still trying to figure out the piled up medical bills and at the same time process the loss of their mom/wife.

We reach out to you, our friends and family to please help lighten this burden. Any little bit helps, I promise you. Maybe skip that Starbucks coffee today? Yes, there is no donation too small and any and all help is greatly appreciated and will not go unnoticed. Any funds not used for funeral expenses will go towards those piled up hospital bills but our priority for now is raising the funds so that we can give Tia Beatriz the proper burial she deserves and she be laid to rest.

El dia martes 26 de octubre, el cielo abrió sus puertas para recibir un nuevo angel al recibir sus alas nuestra querida Tia Beatriz después de luchar por su vida por casi dos meses en cuidados intensivos. Fue en ese momento que el mundo dejo girar, los relojes pararon y nuestros corazones quedaron con un inmenso vacío que nadie mas podrás llenar.

Los que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla saben lo cariñosa y compasiva que ella fue y como siempre se preocupó por los demás. Siempre fue alegre y juguetona con un brillo en sus ojos que aria a cualquiera pensar que era incapaz de enojarse. Realmente una mujer con pureza en el alma. Aun no asimilamos lo sucedido y deseamos que esto solo fuera un mal sueño pero desafortunadamente, es la triste realidad que estamos viviendo.

Con la autorización de mis primas y tío (sus hijas y esposo) que abrí esta cuenta para recaudar fondos. Como se podrán imaginar, los gastos de funeral son astronómicos y desafortunadamente algo para lo cual no estábamos preparados. Esto es una carga muy pesada y mas aun cuando aun no as podido resolver los gastos medicos y a la vez llevar tan grande peso en su corazón por la perdida de su mama/esposa.

Es por esto que se les pide a ustedes, familia y amig@s, que brinden de su ayuda para hacer esta carga algo mas liviana. Les prometo que cada cachito que sea donado sera gran ayuda por muy pequeña que ustedes piensen que sea. Quizá el dia de hoy no se compran ese cafecito de Starbuck’s? Así es, no hay ayuda muy pequeña y todo el apoyo brindado es extremadamente agradecida por la familia. Fondos no utilizados para los gastos de funeral serán utilizados para los gastos medicos per la prioridad es poderle dar a la Tia Beatriz los servicios que ella se merece y sea ella puesta a descansar.
