Funeral Expenses for Teodora Grabiel Carhuayano

Hi my name is Jackie.

I am reaching out to anyone willing to help my family and me during this very difficult time. My grandmother was the best of the best. She was loving, caring, supportive, and overall a strong woman. She cared for all those around her; she loved talking to her family and friends, she loved cooking and going to her little garden and harvesting her crops and planting new ones, and she was looking forward to finally going back to Peru and seeing her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and rest of her family, which she wasn't able to do because of the pandemic.

About a month ago, she broke her leg and had emergency surgery. She was in recovery in rehabilitation center for the last month. Right before she was about to be released to finally come home and be with us, she unexpectedly passed away on April 4th, 2022.

My grandma always wished to be laid to rest in her home country, Peru, with her husband and her son when she passed. Therefore, we want to honor my grandma's last wishes by laying her to rest in Peru. Unfortunately for us, we weren't ready for this. We are asking for help to cover expenses for my grandma's transportation to Peru, and her burial.

I thank you all with all of my heart for all of your support while we make plans to lay my grandma to rest in her home country.

Saludos, mi nombre es Jackie.

En esta ocasion me dirijo a todo aquellos que nos pudieran ayudar a mi familia y a mi durante esta situación tan díficil.

Mi abuelita, Teodora Grabiel Carhuayano; fue la mejor madre y abuelita que uno pudo tener. Ella era amorosa, atenda, comprensiva y sobretodo; una mujer fuerte y valiente.

A ella le gustaba ayudar a todos los que podía, le encantaba conversar con su familia y amigos. Disfrutaba cocinar, ir a su pequeño jardin a cosechar sus cultivos y sembrar nuevas plantas y flores.

Ella esperaba ansiosa pronto poder viajar a Perú a ver a sus nietos, bisnietos y toda su familia; ya que no pudo antes debido a la pandemia .

Hace un mes, se fracturó la pierna y tuvo que ser operada de emergencia. Luego se estuvo recuperando y haciendo terápia en un centro de rehabilitacion. El 4 de Abril, justo un dia antes de ser dada de alta y que finalmente podieramos tenerla en casa; ella falleció de manera imprevista.

Mi abuelita siempre decía que cuando llegase su momento de partir, a ella le gustaría que sus restos fueran enterrados juntos a los de su esposo e hijo en Peru.

Es por eso que quisieramos cumplir su ultima voluntad y llevarla a Peru.

Debido a que todo sucedio tan de pronto y a que es un proceso muy caro, en estos momentos no contamos con los medios necesarios para cubrir todos los gastos de transporte y sepelio.

Agradezco de ante mano y desde el fondo de mi corazón a todos por su apoyo en este momento y proceso tan díficil de llevar a mi abuelita a su tierra natal.
