Financial assistance for the family
To those of you who do not know me, my name is Desiree- daughter of now Nomad Wild Will and niece to Spider-Man and Stacy. I have done a few of these now to help my family when we lose someone and it never gets easier. Myself, Gavan and the Oakland Hell’s Angels are doing this fundraiser on behalf of Spider-Man’s widow Stacy to help with everyday expenses without her loved one.
Rich Grootendorst or as we all know him “Spider-Man” passed away from a heart attack this last week while he was at what will always be considered his home... the clubhouse. Spider-Man grew up in the Bay Area and knew from the time he was 4 years old that motorcycles were his passion. He could tell you almost every story of seeing a pack or member ride passed him as a kid. He even started out building his own bikes and would admit he had no idea what he was doing, he just knew he needed a bike of his own.
Spiderman dedicated his life to the club. This last February he just celebrated his 43rd anniversary. Not an easy task by far to accomplish. During this 43 years his wife Stacy Royce stood by his side. Through sickness and health. They have been married 30 years and together almost 40. My heart breaks for her knowing her whole world has now been turn upside down with his loss.
I know we are all having tough times these days, but any financial assistance to help Stacy get through this time would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts!
