It is with great sadness that we report to you the devastating loss of one of our beloved Omega Alpha Academy family members. A short time ago, we were informed that our student; Sofia Lugo is no longer with us. Her lovely young life was apparently taken from us just a couple of days ago. We apologize but we do not have any more details regarding this sad loss.
Omega was blessed with having had Sofia as our student. It is always a sad tragedy when we experience these untimely losses. She was just starting to live her life when it was sadly taken from her.
Sofia was loved by her family and her many friends. Sofia will always have a special place in our Omega hearts. She will be greatly missed.
The funds will be used to assist Sofia's family with funeral expenses. Please be generous, as you know that we are all currently experiencing tough financial times. Due to the COVID-19 situation, we know that times are particularly difficult. Please allow Sofia's family to provide for her a dignified burial. We thank you beforehand for your generous contribution.
