On November 19th 2018 our family suddenly lost our daughter, sister, wife, mother, cousin, aunt. Sarah Allyson Gocmenoglu was such a light to so many people. Sarah was recently married to a wonderful man named Ozgur. She was so happy with him. She loved him so much. Sarah served our country for ten years in the Army. She did 3 tours overseas, two in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. After her discharge from the military she became a stay at home mom. She loved all of her kids and loved to play, sing, dance and cuddle with them while watching movies. Sarah's sudden passing has left our family broken and hurt. She was taken from us too soon. Sarah passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by the family that loved her. She leaves behind her parents, brother and sister, husband, four children (Sofia, Gabriel, LJ, and Cooper) and two stepchildren (Noah and Elijah), in-laws, and so so many cousins, aunts, uncles, and a nephew. Our family is trying to raise money to help with her funeral expenses. Anything you can donate will be a help to us in this difficult time.
