On Friday, February 5th 2022, my mother lost a long and harrowing battle against COVID-19 and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Throughout Sandys life, her endless generosity and luminous warmth touched the hearts of so many people, and things won't be the same without her in our lives. For those who are kind and able enough to donate, your donations will allow us to celebrate her life and respectfully lay her to rest. Any leftover funds will be used to pay for bills and other expenses while her family greaves and finds their footing in this strange new world without her.

Sandy was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend; she had a loving soul and was the light of so many people's lives. She leaves behind a community of lifelong friends and family, and will be forever missed.
