On the evening of Sunday, October 24th, Ronell Chaney Jr. went to be with the lord. For those of us who know him, it has been a complete shock.

Ron, or Coach Ron as many used to call him, was a community and family man with a heart of gold that helped many of today's leaders and athletes in the Hartford community. He was an excellent football coach, a great mentor, an incredible father, and one of the most responsible human beings we have ever met.

The family is all devastated and not prepared for the high cost of funeral expenses. If we can raise enough, any additional money will be given to his family, who very much depended on Ron for financial support.
