Hey, my name is Nicole Pearson. My Mother is Robin Elliott. My Mama found out on Saturday 2/18/2023 that she had colon/ rectum cancer that was stage 4 and had metastasized to her liver. On Saturday 2/26/2023, at Hospice of West Alabama Mama went to be with Jesus. Typically asking for donations is not something I would do but I honestly don't know where else to turn and I've even gone back and forth about doing this. My Mama didn't have any end-of-life plans, including life insurance. Mama had been sick a long time but her diagnosis and death were both so sudden. Mama's wishes were to be buried instead of cremation and I would like to try to honor that if humanly possible for me to do so. If we don't have enough to have a traditional funeral ALL money raised will go directly to her cremation and ANY remaining funds will be donated to Hospice of West Alabama in honor of her.

My Mama lived a hard life with lots of physical pain and emotional pain as well. I feel like she held on to a lot of things she didn't let anyone know about. She loved her grandbabies more than life itself and she let anyone she could know that any chance she got! There will be a big void in our lives as we go on without her. But, we hold tight to the fact that we will see her again one day and today she is feeling a love she's never known before in Our Father's arms. He will hold her tight until we make it to that wonderful place! I will never forget those who have helped us during this difficult time and anyone who donates just know it's appreciated more than you will ever know. Even if all you feel led to offer are prayers- know they are felt and appriciated!

The Bible tells us The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and crushed in spirit. We're holding tight to his promises and so thankful for answered prayers and a Heavenly reunion with Mama one day. God bless you all and hug your Mama tight- tell her you love her often and don't hold on to the little things because one day she will be gone.
