Funeral Expenses for Robert Applegate

Hi, My name is Melissa. I am fundraising on behalf of the Applegate family. I first met Linda Applegate 22 years ago when I began my teaching career. Throughout the years, I have had the pleasure of having Linda and her daughter Susan and son Robert as Teacher aides in my Special Education classrooms.

In February, after battling some serious health issues, Robert was diagnosed with Cancer. Unfortunately, treatment and every effort made to combat this disease have been unsuccessful. As a result, his condition deteriorated, and he decided to move into hospice care earlier this week.

Robert went home to his mom's house, where a team from Hospice set everything up to make him comfortable. After spending the last few months in the hospital, Robert was happy to be home with his family.

This afternoon, Robert was transferred to Hospice House. He passed away just before 8 pm, surrounded by his loving family.

For those of you that know Linda and her family, you know they were always willing to help others in any way they could. Now it's time for us to help her while she copes with the loss of her son.

Any donations made will go towards funeral arrangements for Robert and help cover any other expenses for Linda and her family.
