When dealing with death the last thing you want to think about is how you're going to pay it. The cost of funerals are rising each year & with everything going on with job loss and cut hours because of the COVID-19 pandemic times are even harder on families.
With that being said I'm asking for all friends and family of myself and of Randy L Hanks Jr to donate anything they can afford to. Yesterday, June 15, 2020, I lost my lover and my best friend. He has left behind so many that loved him including his baby sisters who he loved with everything he had, Alaina, Alyssa, Alerus & Sidney . As well as his mother Amanda Lee. He loved his mom so much, anyone who knew him knew he was a big time momma's boy! Randy was so funny, he had the best sense of humor and could honestly make even the most serious person laugh. He truly was a great man. He had his demons and his flaws as anyone else did but they were nothing compared to his positive qualities. I've only known him as a friend and a lover and he was the best of both. He was so sweet and funny, I literally couldn't argue with him he'd just turn it into a joke and we'd be laughing. He was faithful, loyal, and he did his best as a man to care for me and my two children who he took in as his own. I lost someone truly so special & irreplaceable.
I'm asking for help to put him to rest the best way possible while respecting the wishes of his family as well. I've been a part of this family for years now. I used to joke to Alaina how I was going to marry her brother just so I could be a legit Hanks and part of the family. They are all amazing and I couldn't have chosen a better spouse. We are deeply saddened over how sudden and tragic this happened & I'm just trying to do my part in easing this process and journey for the family. Randy deserves the best and anyone who knew him here in Milwaukee knows what I'm talking about. He had a huge heart & I will never understand why he left us. I don't think we will ever really know why he did what he did but what I do know is he was loved tremendously and he loved without judgement.
We only have what the tribe has provided which is 2,000. Anything would help & would be much appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has already reached out to me & thank you to those who will.
