Funeral Expenses for Randy Bowers

Randy Bowers was a very special man. He was a veteran, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, cousin, and friend. He never met a stranger and helped anyone who asked him. He and his wife Michelle lived on a small farm in Salem, Missouri. They loved the outdoors, and combined Randy's passion for fellow veterans and the outdoors to start a fund to help take fellow veterans fishing. Randy and Michelle were married for 19 years and raised 2 great kids, Megan and Tommy.

The world completely flipped this morning, February 9, 2022. at 7:00 am, Michelle woke up to Randy gasping/gurgling next to her. She yelled for help, and her son and fellow veteran, Mike immediately responded. Tommy began CPR on his father. The ambulance arrived and pronounced that Randy has passed away.

I am starting this GoFundMe to help with the funeral expenses as they did not have life insurance. I know there will be some assistance from the military, but if we can aid in the burden of additional expenses, I know it would relieve some of the stress the family is going through. Whatever funds are raised, not needed for funeral expenses will be used to continue with Randy's passion for helping other veterans.
