Ramon Vicente Garcia:
There are so many words to describe my father: funny, jokester, hardworking, passionate, stylish...I mean he was all of that and more to his wife, children and grandchildren.
Unfortunately, the last couple of years he has been battling Alzheimers which is a debilitating and degenerative disease. Watching him go from a happy go lucky guy to the state he is now is heartbreaking.
As I am writing this, my father will pass soon to the Lord. Although we have been preparing for the fact that this disease can be gradual to swift, we sadly, were not prepared to go through this during a pandemic. Not being able to care for him as we wanted to is devastating to us all.
I humbly ask you, his friends and loved ones to help us with his funeral costs. We are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. Based on the quotes we have gathered and to bury him the way his wishes were, we estimate that we may need 10,000 more than what we have. I come to you on my own will and not from my mother. You all know my mother is a kind, gentle woman and I do not wish to further cause her anymore anguish.
So I’ve started this fundraiser to collect donations for my father's funeral service.
Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
Also if you have any pictures or videos that you can send me so we can play during his service please kindly upload it to: https://www.tributeslides.com/up/127325725459

I am forever grateful that we have had wonderful memories with my dad and he has been able to see his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He has lived a long life and through my mother's great care, he has been able to live it comfortably. I pray that we all have someone that loves us that much.

Thank you all,
Chelita Garcia
