Pascal Asukulu was 17 years years of age. His family is from Congo and have been here over 6 years. Pascal loved to play soccer. He loved to dance with close friends and brothers. They have a dancing group called the Tiger Band. He was very active in school activities and was a member of BSU (Black Student Union.) He was a senior at Maryvale High school where he played in the varsity soccer team. He was also a member of the North Phoenix Christian Soccer Club and the African United FC. Pascal was currently a senior. He loves school and was always making everyone around him happy and he had an infectious smile. He had good grades and was very dedicated to school and family. He had plans to attend ASU after graduation. He had a game Wednesday 12/14/22 in the evening. He rushed home to eat and do his homework. He left home walking and as he was walking back to school for his game, he crossed onto Thomas Road and was standing in the middle when he was struck by a vehicle. His coach and soccer teammates kept asking for him because he never missed a game. The next morning his school friends heard the devastating news. He will be missed by many at Maryvale High School and the soccer community. His family, father and mother, 5 brothers and 3 sisters are very heart broken and in a state of shock. He was the third oldest in the family. Mom, dad and siblings are in a disbelief and very devastated by this tragic loss of Pascal. Please pray for the family and all those who loved and cared for Pascal. The service and funeral date and time will be posted soon. Your donations will help with the funeral services as well as any expenses the family may have as dad will be missing work to be with his family. On behalf of the family, they thank you in advance for your generosity during this horrible time they have to endure.
