Funeral Expenses for Papa Steve (Steve Johnston)

Dear Friends & Family,

I am helping organize this fundraiser on behalf of my grandparents, Mary-Lou and Steve Johnston. We are coming together as a family to ask for your support for my Grandma after the passing of my Papa Steve on August 7, 2023. Some of you may know that several years ago my grandpa was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Since his diagnosis his health had been declining and this past week he was taken to the ER and diagnosed with pneumonia. He passed away shortly after beginning hospice care.

If you got the chance to meet my Papa Steve, you’d know that he was one of a kind. He could be…cheeky… is the word I’ll use ;) but he was funny, he was loving, he was creative and talented, he had seemingly endless amounts of knowledge about the most random things, and was one hell of a cook. And one thing I know for certain is that he loved my Grandma Mary with every fiber of his being until his very last breath.
