On November 16th, 2025, our family experienced a devastating and unimaginable loss. Our 24-year-old baby sister, Monica, passed away. She was a gentle, loving, and devoted mother to her 4-month-old baby, Nalo, and her sudden passing has left our hearts shattered.

Monica was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, partner, and mother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around her. Losing her has left our family heartbroken as we work to bring her home from Georgia to Minnesota, where she can be laid to rest surrounded by the people who loved her most.

We’ve created this fund to help cover the costs of transporting Monica home and arranging her funeral as we honor her memory and give her the farewell she deserves. Any contribution—no matter the amount—means more than we can ever express.
