Funeral Expenses for our Jack Sommerville

It’s with a heavy heart that I am sharing this sad news that we lost our sweet Jack too soon while he was on holiday on Sunday 18th June 2023. The son of Susan and Ian Sommerville passed away. He was only 25 years old. He was on holiday with my sister, his long term partner, on his morning swim on a beach in Biscarrosse, when the current of the ocean turned aggressive and the waves took his life. His sudden passing has left a hole in our hearts.

While we pray for his family, my sister, everyone close to him and everyone he knew, I would like to help his family by trying to raise money to cover the expenses of his funeral costs. While his family shouldn’t be in this situation, I hope to relieve stress and support them during this time, and I know a lot of people would like to help but don’t quite know how. His family were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral or this massive tragedy. Please consider donating anything you can, as any amount will truly help us give him a funeral he deserves.

Jack was a loving, kind, intelligent, adventurous, generous, thoughtful, selfless, creative, passionate soul with fierce faith in God. He loved the arts, being in nature, building things and was working on renovating his parents home in Le Dorat.
