Hello, my name is Erica Taylor, and I've set up this Go Fund Me page to support the funeral arrangements for my ex-husband's mother and my son's grandma. Gail Taylor was a kind, generous, and loving person. More than everything else, she adored her grandson Landon and son Shawn. After suffering from breast cancer, she passed away on October 3, 2023 (pronounced October 4, 2023). She was a strong lady who, at her best, was selfless, and she fought this till the very end, with her son by her side. Shawn was her only child, and to him, his mother was everything. Even though he found it incredibly difficult, he knew that she needed and wanted for him to be there as she took her final breath. Shawn has worked tirelessly to look after his mother, putting aside his own needs and suppressing his emotions so he could tell his mother that it was okay for her to go and that he will take care of everything. However, even this made her hold on for a few more days because Gail was simply not ready to do that, as I said, she was selfless. Shawn had only ever known and loved his mother, Gail, who was 71 years old when she passed away. He will occasionally feel lost as the days pass as he builds strength, but he can rely on his numerous friends and family to support him through this time.

Gail's passing has devastated Shawn, Landon, and numerous other family members and friends, and Shawn, being an only child was unprepared for the enormous cost of a funeral service. Gail Taylor's funeral will honor her memories as a mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend while also allowing us to bid her farewell.

I'm currently asking for donations to help Shawn pay for his mom's funeral so that she can finally rest in peace. Any assistance you could provide would be highly appreciated as Gail didn't have life insurance. My intention is to help Shawn in honoring his mother without having to worry about the expenses that will remain after she is at her resting place.
