On behalf of Danny and Karen Valdez and Jocelyn Nunez..........The family of Oscar Anthony Nunez Curiel is asking for your support to help pay for funeral expenses. Oscar left us on Friday May 19, 2023 at the age of 24 after he succumbed to complications from a years long battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was diagnosed with MD at age 7 but he never let that keep him from living a full and beautiful life. Oscar was a vibrant young man who loved all types of sports and was a long time fan of the L.A. Lakers, the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He was a long time cast member of The Ramona Outdoor Play (The Ramona Pageant) where he filled the role of a Rock Indian, making the trek up the hillside on horseback until he outgrew the role and the horse. Oscar had been studying to be an engineer at Mt. San Jacinto College for the past two years and was in the process of preparing for his final exams. Oscar will be deeply missed by all his friends and family. Thoughts and prayers for the family are also welcome. Please do what you can to help the family navigate this difficult time.
