Nakai Axel and Nico Blaze were born March 4th, 2021 to mom Abby Rae Garlock and Grandmother Melissa Phillips. At birth, the boys were blue in color and not breathing on their own and taken to Travercity hospital and then transferred to DeVos children’s hospital in grand rapids. This is where the Garlock/Phillips family, close personal friends of ours, learned that both boys have a rare genetic disorder called (lethal neonatal rigidity and multifocal seizures syndrome) this disorder and the severity that the boys have does not allow for any quality of life or length of life expectancy. Yesterday at 2:20pm the boys were taken off their ventilators. Nakai axel passed away at 8:34pm and Nico blaze passed at 2:15am. We are asking for your help with medical and funeral expenses for the family during this devastating and unexpected time of loss.
