On this rainy, dreary (her favorite kind of day) Sunday morning of September 5th, 2021, our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend honorably finished her long, hard-fought battle with cancer. She took her final breath here on earth at 8:55am and opened her eyes in heaven looking into the eyes of Jesus, her Savior, void of any pain or suffering. While our hearts are heavy with grief and pain trying to imagine a life with out her, we are so incredibly grateful to have shared our lives with such a special, loving, and brave human being.
Nastya loved life and wrung out every single drop out of it with no regrets. She fought so hard. She never gave up. She loved well. She laughed often. She created beauty out of everything she touched. An incredibly talented photographer, Nastya captured lasting memories for many friends and strangers who became friends. Nastya loved art, creating art, reading, surrounding herself with people of all different backgrounds and interests, and learning from them. Most importantly she was always discovering the best and pretties places to eat well in the company of those she loved. She had a wanderlust that inspired her and all of us whom she took on her journeys with her. Now we travel on without her, left with memories of her, her inspiring strength, and zeal for life. She leaves behind her cherished mom, beloved sisters, young nieces, nephews, extended family, her special Умка, and many many grateful friends.
We thank everyone for all your support and prayers leading up to this day and after today. Please continue to pray for comport and peace in this time of grief.
Funeral details are limited at this time, but her wish was to be buried in her city of Vinnytsia, Ukraine. All funds will go towards funeral expenses and will be handled by her sister Anya Melnychenko.
