Creating this crowdfunding was not an easy decision for me and my husband, Monvelyno, who’s mother transitioned this past week. As independent artists (and prideful people) we don’t love the idea of asking for help. But here we are...
On Sunday, July 14th, 2019, Micheline Boucicault passed away at Hospital St Nicolas in St Marc, Haiti. She was 65 years old and suffered from hypertension. She was born and raised in Jacmel, Haiti where she already has her gravesite (next to her late son) waiting for her.
The funds from this campaign will help us:
-Purchase round trip tickets to Haiti (which are upwards of $1000 per person including bereavement discount).
-Transport Micheline from St Marc to Jacmel
-Wake and funeral services
-Transportation and lodging in Haiti
No contribution is too little, every little bit counts.
