Funeral Expenses for our Mother Sandra Moreno

I do not where start or how to begin... This has been a long and unbelievable road for my mom and her struggle to maintain a hidden illness, which I knew of since a young adult but never did I see myself here today and writing this for my momma. I still can't fully process it but my mom has God on her side and it comforts me to say I to have God with me.
My mother has been in and out of the hospital for about a year now, and the one thing that the doctors never expected after giving their diagnosis of no more then a few months to live, was to see my mom live past her life expectancy and prove my mom is beyond strong. You had to be there to see the battle and see that my mom came back from what we thought was her final day so many times but "cholas never give up." If you know my mom you know how that fits. My mom has been through so much with the hospital, from being in the icu for months at a time, cardiac arrest and even catching covid from a nurse. It put so much fear in our hearts with what the world is dealing with as a whole and to not be with my mom when she was in the hospital, was a nightmare. We are social creatures and not be able to whisper I love you in my moms ear while she laid in a hospital bed fighting for her life, wasnt even an option or even hold her hand. It became our worst fear to know she would pass alone. Luckily we are now able to be by her side in Modesto CA for her last few days. We are able to actually hold her, love her and surround her with family.
I painted my moms nails fir the first time and asked her if I can, she nodded her head with the expession, yes
God has been with us the whole way but my mom is scared and so are we. This is my rock, my corazon and protector. I see my mom in so so much pain and cant bare to see her continue to suffer. We, all ofher eight children have to come to terms and acceptance. My mom is going to recieve her Angel wings. I just hope and pray she knows we love her beyond the stars and to the heavens.
