Hello, my name is Shayla and I am raising money to help with the end of life expenses for my mother, Deena Nelson. Back in February 2022, my mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. It began with a cancerous tumor on her Brain then we soon learned it had metastasized all over her body, esophagus, bones etc. Her doctors tried to fight the cancer aggressively head on, and she fought long and hard with everything she had in her to stay here with her loved ones. She was a warrior and her faith kept her strong. Unfortunately on March 5th 2023 she lost her battle and is now resting easy with her mom in heaven. My mother means the absolute world to me, and I feel she deserves to have her end of life wishes met. My mother's wishes are to be cremated and to have a celebration of life. At this time, We cannot afford to follow through with her wishes of planning a funeral and then cremation. Any funds raised with this fundraiser will be directly used for these end of life expenses,
