Funeral expenses for my mom, Barbara Ethel Finney

On February 25, 2022, my mom, Barbara Ethel Finney, passed away from congestive heart failure at the much-too-young age of 69. My mom was a ride-or-die kind of mom - if she loved you, she always had your back, no matter what. She would always support her family through anything, come Hell or high water.

She touched many hearts and helped many friends throughout her life - she helped one of our friends film an independent film, where she and I got a chance to be extras, as seen in the cover photo. She also tugged every heartstring in the local community theatre scene, playing roles like Mrs. Paddy from the play The Curious Savage, seen below.

I never imagined I'd lose her this soon, when I'm only 26. I always thought she would be here for me when I graduate from university, when I get my first job after graduation, and when I one day get married. She's always been here for me and my dad, and I thought she always would be. Now my dad and I are alone.

We held her funeral on March 5th, but we still need to pay for it and a gravestone, alongside other expenses we're now facing in the wake of her passing. The loss of my mother has cost more than I ever thought it could, both financially and emotionally.

Any and all donations will go towards paying what we owe for the funeral or other grave-related expenses, or otherwise on monthly cost-of-living expenses that my dad and I have to find a way to cover until I can find a job after graduation.
