Funeral Expenses for My Grandfather

My grandfather, Charles James Bennett, is tragically very close to passing away due to underlying health conditions and a severe infection that's taken an immense toll on his already weakened immune system and body. At 90 years old my grandpa is still as stubborn and as much of a fighter as he has been his whole life. From his time serving in Korea to his dedication  in raising 5 children while being a successful lawyer, my grandpa has had a life full of love and loss, successes and failures, and more memories than anyone I know. Watching him fade away this last month has been beyond difficult for my mom and I, with the last few days being the worst. We moved him up here just last month to be with us in Humboldt so he wouldn't be alone in LA, but his time here has been cut too short. The doctors say he only has a few days or maybe a week at the latest left here with us which means it's time to plan for his funeral services throughout all the pain and chaos right now. We are going to go through Ayres Family Creation to have him buried in the Veterans Association cemetery in Redding as per his last requests. Since we're short on funds now after his move and medical expenses, I started this fundraiser to help fund his burial service which is around $2,000 as the most affordable option. I know it's asking a lot, especially during this holiday season, but if you have anything to spare to help us afford a proper burial, we would be beyond grateful for any amount. Thank you so much.
