Dearest friends, family, and community members,

 

It is with a heavy heart and extreme sadness that I am creating this gofundme for my grandma, Maria Leyva. She passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 6, due to cardiac arrest.

 

My family and I were not at all prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a proper funeral service and burial. Unfortunately, these times have not been good to my family and I in terms of finances. That is why I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you’ll show your support.

 

We would love nothing more than to give Maria a sensible funeral service, but we cannot do so alone. Every donation will get us closer to putting her to rest peacefully where she belongs. We want to give her the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory, and say our last goodbyes.
