Funeral Expenses for Mike Alden

Donation protected
Hello everyone. I am starting this gofundme for Heather Alden, who lost her husband to Leukemia and other underlying health conditions at only age 49. In November 2021, he was transferred to MD Anderson and resided there for eight weeks. During his stay, they determined his cirrhosis of the liver was exacerbating his other health concerns. They discovered a brain bleed just before Christmas, and his health started to seriously deteriorate. He was released from MD Anderson mid-January and finally able to go home. Shortly after getting home and settling back in, they determined his kidneys were shutting down. He stayed at Baylor for ten days, then was sent home on hospice. They gave him days to weeks to live. Each day that he was home, we watched his health decline further. Sadly, Sunday, March 13th, he left this world surrounded by family and loved ones.

Unfortunately, with the psoriasis diagnosis and the quick deterioration of his health, life insurance was not an option. Heather now has his medical bills and funeral expenses, amongst other unforseen expenses that will soon be arrising. If you are able to help her through this financially difficult time monetarily, it would be greatly appreciated. She says that she can feel each of your prayers lifting her up through this trying time.
