Funeral Expenses For Michael Hensley

Our beloved father, Michael Hensley, recently passed very unexpectedly from Multiple Myeloma on January 3rd. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind too many family and friends to list one by one, but he touched all our lives and hearts.
Mike was dedicated to his family, helping people, and making everyone laugh around him, he was a great person with a heart of gold. He was the first person you could call if you needed help and he would drop everything and run to help you, every time I turned around he was doing something or another for someone. Mike usually always had a smile on his face and a dog treat in his pocket.
We are all devastated by Mike’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Mike the memorial he deserves in this troubling time, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. Our mom has been a housewife unable to work for years due to medical conditions and doesn't have any income right now so we need to figure out a way to help save the house, pay the bills and buy food. This was so unexpected, we found out that he had multiple myeloma right before Thanksgiving and then he died right after the holidays without us getting to visit him except the very last day when we had to let him go.
I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Mike’s funeral, medical bills/copays/deductibles and unexpected expenses. We need to raise $10,000 as soon as possible in order to help cover the funeral and other expenses.
