Funeral Expenses for Mercedes Torrico

Dear Friends,

My mom, Mercedes Raquel Torrico, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, after battling pulmonary fibrosis for several years. She leaves behind her husband, Mauro Torrico, three children, and ten grandchildren. Mercedes was a God-fearing woman, and all who knew her knew how caring she was towards everyone. Her death has created a hole that can’t be filled. Mom was the backbone of the family and even though she was sick, she did everything she could to make sure we did not have to worry about her care after her death. That is why she set aside as much as she could to cover her funeral expenses, but unfortunately it will not be enough to cover the cost. Our family and friends have come together to help Dad cover the difference, but we appreciate any donation to reach this goal. The funds will go towards Mom’s funeral expenses. Any additional funds will help support my Dad with the transition of losing his wife; this will include the cost of their apartment for the next few months while we determine a plan to take care of Dad.

This is a challenging time for our family, both emotionally and financially, and we appreciate your support.
