Funeral Expenses for Melinda Maddux

On Thursday night, Melinda suffered a "devastating" brain bleed and she passed away on Valentine's day. She was surrounded by family and loved ones when she went to be with Jesus. There was so much love around Melinda, because Melinda gave unconditional love.
Melinda was 50 years old and had down syndrome. Melinda was a light to all she came in contact with. She was beautiful. She was hilarious. We are going to miss her so very much. She lived her entire life with our "momma and daddy." And, she loved them with her whole heart. Less than one year ago, our dad passed away after many years of struggling with health issues. Melinda was in complete denial. Her Momma and Daddy were her entire world. She would ask to go see her dad and repeatedly tell us that her "dad was in the bed." We would remind her that he was in heaven. In more recent days, she would acknowledge this and just say "I miss my dad. Dad is in heaven." We were all still grieving for our dad.
The loss of Melinda was sudden, unexpected and is tragic. We are grieving so deeply. Our mother has cared for her for 50 years. This is a very difficult time for our families.
Burying Melinda so soon after burying our dad, is a huge financial and emotional burden on our mom. If you are able to help in any way, we would be so grateful.
