Ezequiel "Matthew" Olvera Jr. was a fighter. He had been battling Covid for nearly two months until he lost the fight on January 24th at 12:25 pm. Matthew served in the United States Navy and came home to be a Deputy for the Collin County Sheriff's Office. As of late, he worked for Foxworth Galbraith Lumber in Van Alstyne, TX.

He was a devoted and loving son and brother to his family, wife, and three beautiful children.

Matthew is the son of one of our police officers at the Farmersville Police Department. She has been a police officer with us for four years.
